Our hearts melted...

She praised her no end...grasps quickly...a lovable child...even the other girls in her class care for her...

Her eyes sparkled as she spoke about her 8 years old student...her affection for her was palpable...our hearts melted...

In just a few months since she had entered the gateway of the Army Public School (APS), she had lit the eyes...and heart...of her teacher...

From her dreary past...to a bright rainbow in the sky...she has come a long way...an Army officer is what she aspires to become...

In Ghar she found her mother...her home…love...in her teacher a hand that lovingly clasped her...a hand to guide her along the path...and to bless her...

It felt good...

Yes, she did indeed reinforce our resolve to make a difference to the lives of people...

She started school well after the academic year had commenced...a disinterested child she was then...

Her direction did indeed change...since then she has never looked back...from 65% in her 1st term which she only partially attended to 93.5% in her 2nd term! She has made all at Ghar proud!

The deep cuts on her forehead have healed...the scars remain...a reminder of the life she had endured earlier...
